Dudley Drew 1974 Landscape, Oil on Canvas

Dudley Drew (1924-2015) was an Australian portrait, still life and landscape painter.

He was born in Dennington, Victoria, and many of his paintings feature Victorian settings and people.

He was a finalist in the 1952 Archibald Art Prize.

This painting is an oil on canvas, which has been mounted into a solid wooden frame. It features a landscape with eucalyptus trees.

Painting measures: 95cms x 75cms x 2cms.

Frame measures: 113cms x 82cms x 4.5cms.

The artist has signed and dated the painting in the bottom right hand corner.

Unfortunately it appears that while in storage the painting was scraped slightly and this section may need to be restored. The mark is in the upper left corner.
